PROPOSED EDUCATION CONFERENCE. (Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright., ' BRISBANE, January 13. The annual conference of the Austra lian Teachers’ Federation endorsed a proposal that an education conference should be held under the auspices of the League of Nations at Geneva. FLOUR MILLS DESTROYED. SYDNEY, January 12. Fire destroyed a large portion of Mungo Scott’s flour mills at Summer HiiT, including 10,000 bogs of flour. The damage is estimated at £75,000. HEAT IN ADELAIDE. ONE DEATH REPORTED. ADELAIDE, January 13. (Received Jan. 14, at 0.10 a,m.) Extremely hot weather prevails, the temperature to-day reaching llOdeg. One death is reported, due to sunstroke.
