ANGORA TRIBUNALS’ RECORDS. OVER 200 HANGED. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, January 11. The Constantinople correspondent of The Times states that during the last 21 months the Western Tribunal of Independence, stiting at Angora,- dealt with 340 cases, involving 2351 persons, of whom 948 were convicted, 204 hanged, and 635 imprisoned for terms varying from one to 30 years. The principal charges were brigandage, plotting revolution, treason, and spying. The figures of the Eastern Tribunal have not yet been published, but it is believed that they are heavier than those of the Western Tribunal.—The Times.
