NEW GUINEA NATIVES

STILL THREATENING TROUBLE. (Press Association—By Telegraph— Copyright.) SYDNEY, January 10. A wireless message from Bulolo states that the natives in the vicinity of Rabaul village arc still threatening trouble, and carriers will not proceed through the village unless accompanied by their masters. The natives persist in accosting all parties, waving their spears and dancing round with hews and arrows, but as only large parties pass through at a time it deters them from attacking. The road to Salarnoa is still unsafe.
