PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Lake County Council held on Thursday, the second day of December, 1926, a Special Order making By-law to Regulate Motor Vehicular Traffic on the Skippers road was Passed, and will be CONFIRMED at a MEETING of the Council to be held on WEDNESDAY, the nineteenth day of January, 1027. The following is the text of the By-law, wnich is OPEN FOR INSPECTION at the Office of the Lake County Council, Queenstown: 1. Clauses 2 and 3 of the Schedule of the said By-law of the Lake County Council passed by the said Council on the twelfth day of June, 1912, and Confirmed on the seventeenth da v of July, 1912. are hereby Repealed. 2. No person shall, during the period between 9 o’clock a.m. and 4.30 o’clock p.m. drive or operate or cause or permit to be driven or operated any motor vehicle as defined by Section 2 of “The Motor Vehicles Act, 1924,” or any engine or machine propelled by mechanical power on cither of the roads set forth and described in the schedule hereto. THE SCHEDULE BEFORE REFERRED TO. 1. The portion of the Queenstown to Skippers Main road commencing at the junction near Arthur’s Point of the Skippers road with the road from Queenstown to Arrowtown, and extending to and terminating at Skippers, • comprising a distance measured along the said road of fifteen miles or thereabouts 2. The portion of the Arrowtown to Skippers Main road known as the Dan O’Connell road, being the portion if the said road extending from the homestead at the foot of Coronet Peak Station to tha junction of the said road with the Queenstown to Skippers Main road, a dhrar.ee measured along the said road of four miles or thereabouts.
