While a party from the country were having s meal in a restaurant in towm tonight 1 lib Jr one-ton motor lorry which they had left outside attracted the attention erf a young Maori, who was under the influence of lic;uor. The -Maori cranked the engine and moved the controls so as to cause it to race. The resulting vibration rattled tho gearing, which finally gave way under the strain, and pieces flew in all directions, <nmo peppering a large plateglass window. The Maori was arrested.
