Prc«« Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. HAGUE, May 6. Great seizures of narcotics have been made at Rotterdam. The police were informed from Antwerp that a notorious smuggler of narcotics had consigned to Rotterdam two cases enclosed in safes, prabably-containing narcotics. The police seized the safes in a warehouse. Each ease weighed 1700 kilogrammes. They found boxes filled with raw opium packed between the outer and inner sides. The police also seized in another warehouse ton cases allegedly containing dyestuffs, which contained boxes of raw opium, also imported in safes. Altogether about 1000 kilos of opium were seized. One of the alleged smugglers, a Russian living in Antwerp, has been arrested. — Reuter.
