IMPROVED CONDITfONS IN CANTER. BURY. (Pbb United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 6, The weather in Canterbury cleared this morning, and the rivers are falling. Floods are no "longer feared. The ferry steamer arrived at 10 o’clock after a rough trip. It had to travel half-speed for a time.
