MR HENRY N. HOLMES.
In speaking of Mr Holmes’s lecture on the Grand Canyon, an English writer says: “Really he gave us something quite new. The pictures were magnificent and just seemed to call for the story, pointed with humour, and graced with literary allusions. The sycronisation of picture and comment were a fine achievement from a technical po. v , of view.” This world-traveller, who has been considered worthy of the distinction of Follow of The Royal Geographical Society, is shortly to Jecture in Dunedin.
