MR HENRY N. HOLMES.

It is probably 15 years since Mr 11. N. Holmes, E.R.G.S., resided in New Zealand. Since then he has travelled very extensively 'in the United States and Canada, and no now resides in New York. Ho has travelled round the world in varied interests, and has visited most of tho scenic wonders of both hemispheres. Mr Holmes, on Monday, will deliver his travelogue on “Tho Grand Canyon of Arizona,” that ‘Divine Abyss.” The mightiest of all scenic wonders, tho mighty canyon which the Colorado River has chiselled in the earth’s crust 15 miles from edge to edge, one mile deep, and 217 miles long. It is described as “The most sublime spectacle of earthly pageantry.”
