UNION COMPANY’S FLEET.
FIVE NEW STEAMERS PURCHASED. (Pee United Parras Association.) WIKAJTNGTON May 5, The Union Steam Ship Company is adding five steamers to its fleet. The Tamaliine, an oil burner, of 17 knots, will run between Wellington and Picton in about throe hours, carrying TOO to 800 passengers. The Waipoti, 2000 tons, is for carrying refrigerated produce for export between coastal ports i tire other three vessels are colliers.
