(Received Mar 5, at 9.20 p.m.) An advertisement in the Sporting Journal announces for sale all Iho horses owned and trained by O'Sullivan.—A. and N.Z. Cable. A cablegram published by lis yesterday stated that there was a sensation at the Thirsk (Yorkshire) races, when it was announced that the Jockey Club stewards had commissioned si veterinary surgeon to lake a samplo of tho saliva, from Azimuth, whieli finished second in the Thirsk Handicap on Friday. The sample was sent to an expert for analysis. Mr O'Sullivan (a New Zealander, the owner and trainer of Azimuth) declared that there was no sign of anything irregular in the horse's condition. The horse had never been tampered with. The Jockey Club would have to defend its action.
