LADIES’ HOCKEY.
MATCHES FOR FIRST ROUND. A meeting of the executive of the Otago Ladies’ Hockey Association was held on Monday evening in Mr J. H. Walker’s room. The* Secretary reported that she had received the following entries for this season: Five A Grade teams, and 15 B Grade teams. —lt was decided to make two sections in the B Grade, as was the case last year. Transfers of the following players were granted, subject to the usual conditions: Miss M. Freeman from Green Island Club to Momona Club, and Miss W. Miller from Green Island Club to Technical Old Girls’ Club. A letter was received from Mr L. Fogo agreeing to be the association’s delegate to the Referees’ Association.
