A MOTORIST’S COMPLAINT. n) THE EDITOR. Sir, —One often sees reflections on motorists in letters to the press, but motorists have causes of complaint against members of the public who are often very careless in their methods of making use of the portion of the highway devoted to wheel traffic. For example, they too often stand right out from the pavement when waiting for a tram, long before the arrival of the tramcar, instead of remaining on the footpath. At present it is awkward for any motorist coming down Stafford street and turning northwards into Princes street to meet one of these buses coming out of Manse steet, especially when one or moie of the butchers’ big vans Ls unloading at the corner. —I am, etc., Motorist.
