Many Pnriaiennes, who have their hair shingled, visit the hairdresser twice a da}' to have their coiffures act so that not a single hair is out of place. The Peruvian Consul-General in London stated that the coast regions of Peru could produce four million tons of cotton a year if properly irrigated, instead of the 11),IKK) tons produced now.
