DUNEDIN CLUB’S ANNUAL MEETING. 'the fifty-second annual meeting of the Dunedin Football Club was held on Thursday night in Mr H. Divers’s board room. Air St. J. J. Durmo presided over an attendance of about 70 members. The Chairman, in moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet, expressed his pleasure at the large attendance, complimented the club on its sound position. He stated that they all looked forward with confidence to the coming season The report and balance sheet were adopted. The election of office-bearers for the ensuing year resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr T. Cahill; president, Mr A. Cooke; vicepresident?—Messrs J. O’Sullivan, A. Haynes, and J. Wilson; secretary and treasurer, Mr H. O’Reilly; assistant secretary, Mr W. Brookes; club captain, Mr P. Fitzpatrick; Selection Committee —Mesrs O’Sullivan and Fitzpatrick; General Committee—Messrs A. Scott, W. Lindsay, J. Dunne, H. Carter, E. Collins, J. Kerr, and A. King: auditor, Mr J. Morrison; delegates to the O.R.F.U.— Messrs J. Dunne, J. Wilson, and T. Cahill ; coach, Air W. Lindsay; Social Committee— Messrs D. Keyes, F. Sligo, F. Saddler, W. Brookes, and F. Toomey. Mr Dunne, in retiring from the position of president, reviewed in retrospect his 10 years’ term of in that position and his 28 years’ association with the club. Ten new members were elected. The opening day will be held to-day. It was decided to invite a team from the Sydenham Club in Christchurch to play a match here at Easter. ■ Some discussion took place regarding the abolition of the wing forward, and the motion regarding the club delegates which is to be brought before the O.R.F.U.—It was decided to give the club’s delegates a free hand in the matter. The club patron announced that he would present two medals for the Fourth and Fifth Graces respectively.
