CRIMINAL FOR AUSTRALIA
“DECLINED WITH THANKS.” LONDON, February 24. “A nice present for Australia,” as a criminal who was ohanrged in the Croydon Court with various offences was described in the London press, will not come to Australia after all. He has been declined with thanks. The youth, who was said to have a long record of housebreaking and other crimes, bod been remandod “in order that arrangements should bo made to send him to Australia ” However, Australia House has firmly declined to accept him.
