STRONG CONTINENTAL DEMAND,
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. . LONDON, July 28. (Received Aug. 1, at 8.15 p.m.) At the wool sales there was a moderate attendance. There was strong Continental competition, merinos and fine crossbreds selling at full recent rates. Lower qualities are unchanged. The top pries for the Longburn clip was 29d, and tha average 24d. The Bradford market is quiet. The spinners are little disposed to operate, and prices are unchanged.—A. and "N.Z. Cable.
