The Kum&ra correspondent of the Greymouth Star reports that a most unfortunate accident happened last Sunday mcrning to a man named John Scott, a farm hand, employed by Mr W. On this lease there were now 26 men employed. The output required from both leases (1500 tons) had been put out; in fict, ov-er 1900 tons had been produoed. The chief difficulty to woduction for some time was the want of shipping. From February to date 1132 tons of coal were put out, and over 300 tons were expected this week. They could touch the new lease within a month. The Warden suggested that_ tho matter bo to stand over until September 21. Tho mines inspector agreed, and it was so arranged.
