GENERAL NEWS
A very successful and enjoyable dinner was tendered a few evenings ago by the mernßers of Lodge Palmerstan, No. 26, to their brethren who recently returned from tho war. Tho gathering comprised about 30 members, including the guests of the evening, namely—Bro. Lieurtenant-colonbl Geo. Barclay, V.D., Lieutenant J. Pagan, Corporal D. Guffie, Private G. Ross, Set■goant O. Douglas, A. Diack, and J. Chißholm. The usual list of toasts was honoured. and tho harmony of tho evening was /xmtributod to by Biro. R. Cameron E. Lo Fevro, D. Ross, D. Guffio, J. Moodio, W. H. Brunton. An interesting address was delivered by Wor. Bro. G. Barclay, and various experiences wore related by tjio returned brethren, both as regards Masonio and war affairs. The evening oonoludcd with the singing of the National Anthem.
