MINING.
In a recent report the manager of tho Waitangi Consolidated mine says:—The crosscut through the main reef m No. 2 level proves the reef to be 12ft wide at this point, and nearly all solid quartz. Driving on the course of the reef has been resumed on the hangingwall side of tho reef, as this side appears to carry the best value.
