MELBOURNE, July 30. (Received July 30, at 9.5 p.m.) Senator Millen received a deputation of seamen, who demanded the release of Walsh;
The union officials informed Senator Millen that Walsh's release was an absolutely essential condition precedent to negotiations for a settlement.
