GRAIN AND PRODUCE SALES. Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report:— Oats: There is no change to report in- price. Owing to the railway restrictions no oats are arriving. Millers are holding sufficient for requirements for some time yet, and as tho railway will not carry oats unless for immediate gristing, business is at a standstill. Milling, 4s 4d; A Gartons, 4s 3d; B, 4s Id to 4s 2d; feed, 3s lOd to 3s lid; inferior, 3s 3d to 3s 6d per bushel, sacks extra. Wheat: There is a fair demand, at Government rates. Very little is on offer. Fowl wheat ia slow of sale, at from 6s to 6s Id. Potatoes: Tho market has firmed considerably during the week. Supplies are still light. Tho condition of the potatoes arriving during the week has been satisfactory, very few frosted) lines having come forward. " Best tables, to £10 10s; good, ±'10 to £10 ss; seed potatoes, are in good demand, at prices corresponding with tables. Chaff: Supplies are arriving more freely tho market has eased in cansequemoo. Prime, £7 10a; good, £7 5s to £7 7s 6d; medium, £6 15s to £7; discoloured, £5 10s per ton, bags extra.
