FEMALE ACCUSED DISCHARGED. (Pee United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 26. Bessie Bates, who took a poisonous drug on board the Prinzessin, was again brought before the court to-day. Chief Detective Boddam said the accused's parents had been communicated with and they were willing to take charge of her. She was now in a normal state and unlikely ' to repeat the attempt on her life. Tfie Magistrate said the accused had had a severe lesson and in tho circumstances she would be discharged on the charge of having attempted to commit suicide.
