FIRE AT N.E. VALLEY
The Fire Brigade received a call at 1.25 a.m. on Saturday to a four-roomed house in Selwya street, North-East Valley. The walls of two rooms and the ceilings iwere burnt, but the brigade had the outbreak under control before the fire damaged any other portion of the house. The building was owned by Mr R. Allen, and is occupied by Mr C. March. The furniture is not insured, but the South British Company holds a policy for £250 on the bouse.
