Tipperary Boy beat Sparrowhawk. First Home beat Hurry 011. Londonderry led Comedy Princo, and did all the work in the oarly stages of the course. He then tired, and Comody Prince, picking up tho work, wiped out tho score standing against him. Norman Tuckfield led till getting near tho game, when he was passed by Actor, who obtained the turn. After this both dogs worked well, but Norman Tuckfield was in supremacy most of tho time, and got tho judge's verdict. There was a splendid race to the liarG between Dash Kaka and Erin's Isle, and after a short course Dash Kaka killed oft' a straight drive. Grand March led Helen B by four lengths, and kept possession during the greater portion of a gruelling course. Tho hare doubled right back, and was finally chased to tho _ escapcs by Grand March, Helen B following a long way in tho rear. Span-owhawk had a big load from Lena Patch in the run up, and must have had thescore well in hand when tho hare got to cover. Tipperary Boy had a substantial advantage o-per Onward in tho run up, and did practieallv everything that drove to oovcjc. It was a fairly straight run to the escapes. Both First Homo and Oamaru Brick made a good run to the hare, but after that Oamaru Brick faded away ,and left everything to First Home. Hurry On got to the hare in front of Verbena and turned, a quick kill resulting. In the second round Comedy Prince and Norman Tuckfield ran a no-course, and were returned to the slips. In the deciding course Comedy Prince ran away from Norman Tuckfield in what was practically a straight run to the escapes.— Erin's Isle led Grand March by four lengths, what locked like a joint kitl taking place near the escapes. Sparrowhawk led Tipperary Boy on being slipped, but was passed by the latter in the run to tho game. Both dogs worked well an the hare, which was killed in a comparatively Bhort course! Tho last course was between First Homo and Hurry On, tho latter taking no part in the last half of the course, which was the longest of tho day. SUPPLEMENTARY STAKE. The draw for the Supplementary Stake is as followa:—Londonderry meets Sparrowhawk, Dash Kaka meets Oamaru Brick, Grand March meets Verbena, Onward meets Actor.
