FIRES.

Tho Firo Brigade received a call shortly before midday yesterday to 163 Pacific street Koslyii, a chimney having caught fire. The firo hod, however, practically been got under before tho arrival of tho brigade. Tho launch and dinghies wore valued at about £100, and tho shed at £40. Tho launch, dinghies, and shed wore insured with the Ocean, Aocident, and Gaarantee Corporation for £90.
