(Received July 24, at 9.25 p.m.) The Postmaster-general's report shows a profit of £387,381, as compared -with a loss of £117,146 for , the previous year For the first time the telegraph branch was worked at a profit totalling £28 116 Out of 636,000,000 letters and other articles handled,, only 14,514 failed to reach their destination.
