(Pee United Press Association.) CHRIST CHURCH, July 25. In: the Supremo Court to-day Frank Morris, for forcing a. withdrawal slip for £10 on the Christchurch Post Oliios Savings Bank, was ordered to be detained for two years' reformatory treatment. •Clarence Henry Becks, formerly a postal official at ICaiapoi, for the theft of three postal packets, was sentenced to 12 months' reformatory treatment. The probation officer's report oil the prisoner was good, but Mr Justice Herdman said it was the practico to treat offences against the Postal Department as very serious, as the public confidence in the post office must not bo disturbed.
