SUBDIVISION OF SHARES. (Per United Pbess Association.) ■ . AUCKLAND, July 22. An extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in the New Zealand Insurance Company was held to-day for the purpose of further dealing with resolutions in regard to the subdivision of the company's shares. The special resolutions passed at a ing of shareholders on July 4 were confirmed. The chairman moved that a call of 2s' a share, payable on August 27, be made, and that £150,000, part of the reserve fund,' be distributed pro rata among shareholders by way of bonus, such bonus to be appl"->d to the payment of the call. He stated that with the payment of this call the £1 shares would be paid ur> to 10s. The motion was carried unanimously. The Chairman stated that next month's dividend would be paid upon the shares as subdivided, and that all the meetings required in connection with the subdivision had now been held.
