The Kahika is expected to leave Wellington to-day for Greymouth, where Bhe will load for Dum-din.
Hie Kaiapoi, which loaded at Westport for Oomara, Lunedin, and Bluff, was unable to leave the West. Coast port yesterday on account of the rough state of the bar. The Putiki, which left here at 5 o'clock on Monday, reached Timaru at 9" a.m. yesterday.
■ The Kakapo is expected to leave Wellington to-morrow for Auckland.
The Katoa left Auckland at 5 a.m.' yesterday for Wellington. The Kauri arrived at Newcastle at 7 a.m. on Monday, and is expected to leave for Lyttelton with a cargo of coal to-day. The Bittawa was expected to leave Newcastle yesterday for Westport and Lyttelton.. '■
The Kokiri arrived outside Greymouth at 6 p.m. on Monday, but was unable to enter or account of the rough state of the bar. At Greymouth the vessel will load for Lyttelton.

Th© Hew Zealand Shipping- Company adVises that tli© British-India, Company's Bteamer Waipara was to be placed on the loading berth at Montreal at, the end of last month lor Now Zealand ports in place of the steamer Yonne. The Waipara was expected to leave Canada early in July for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Diia■edan.

The cc-lber ISgakuta, which is at present discharging portion of her cargo ot Newcastle coal at Lyttelton, will come on to JJunedin to complete unloading. ghe is due here about Thursday, and' from here she will proceed to Greyinouth.
THE BAEQUEsNTINIE ILMA. Tne Union Steam Ship Company's barquentino lima, bound from Greymouth to Adelaide with a .cargo of timber, waa towed into Sydney Harbour on July 6 in a disabled! condition.
Under the command of Captain. Paul the Bma loft Groymoutb on Juno 3, and' fair weather was experienced until June 13, when the barquontino was Hearing Bass Strait Here terrific north-westerly gales were encountered, and tho vessel was very severely handled. The first bket of the gale was responsible for the loss of several sails fonortly the foremast broke level with the dock, and in foiling carried with it the mumtopmaat. Heavy seas broke over the Jlma, and with the loss of her sails and spars her plight was a pitiful one. _On June 15, the gale having abated, and the wind being favourable, Captain Paul decided to make for Sydney. UndOT roake&hift sail the vosoel's progress was slow, but she finally reached Sydney Heads. She was taken in tow by the tug Stornicock, and poached an anchorage in, Johnstone's Bay. No accident to the crow occurred dnring tho gale, and the vessel's cargo of timber (380,000 ft) is intact. Tho vessel's cargo has boon discharged, aod oho Vill therefore not complete the trip to Adelaide, but is expected to leavo Sydney this week with general cargo for Auckland.
