ANGLING COMPETITION.
The Otago Anglers' Association held a very successful competition on the Shag River on Labour Day. Twenty competitors out of the 22 that entered turned out, and tho river was occupied from the mouth to several miles beyond Dunback. The following aro the results:—!). Hatfield, 3 fish, 31b. Mr Aitken's special prize for a competitor not" having won ft prize previously was secured by Mr J. i\ Peake.
