THE MOUNT-ALEXANDER SCHOONER.
{To the Editor of the Daily Times.) Sir,-—lt was to our utter surprise that in your issue of 22nd instant, we observed the following parai g apjf' among ( .your' local intelligence :— " We have' received a,letter' respecting the loss of the Mount Alexander schooner, on the i)th instant, at the .mouth of the Molyneux. We must decline to insert it, as it contains imputations which, if true, should find expression in another way than through the columns-of a newspaper." You must see how seriously the above affects us as owners, and Captain Williamson, as master of the vessel; and in common justice we ask you to give us the name of your correspondent, as we are anxious that the fullest enquiry touching the loss of ithe schooner should be instituted. , "."...
