The anxiety which prevailed in Dunedin on Monday evening, relative to the position of a steamer at anchor off the Ocean Beach, was relieved by the arrival in port this morning of the steamer in question, which proved to be the Corio, from Port Albert, with a cargo of Gipps' Land cattle. She had simply anchored in the shelter of Cape Saunders oa Monday evening, in consequence of the prevalence of a pretty strong nortli easterly wind, she being a vessel of only slight steaming powers. The passage previous^ had, however, been a very satisfactory one, and she only had a loss of two out of the forty odd head of cattle which constituted her freight. Oa arrival she passed at once up to Dunedin to discharge her stock in Pelichet Bay. The brig Remark brought to-day another consignment of 170 head of cattle, shipped at Wellington. When she left Wellington, the Indus, Yarrow, and Valiant were loading, the Valiant being chartered this trip for Lyttelton. The Intercolonial Royal Mail Company's screw steamer Airedale arrived in the forenoon, bringing seventy-six passengers. She left Sydney on the 9th\ instant, and arrived at Nelson at 6 a.m. on the 15th —a quick run of five and a half days. Left Nelson on the 17th, arrived in Wellington on the 18th, sailed thence on the 19th, and arrived at Lyttelton on the 20th, sailing on the 22ud. The hearing of the charge of disobedience of orders against the second officer of the Storm Cloud, and of the charge of assault brought against Captain Adams by that officer, was to-day adjourned until Saturday next. :
