(To the Editor of the Daily TrifKs.) •? E I A^ Mi i Editor—Do let me sa.y a word or two on behaf of the ladies of Duuoain ; don't for pity's sake select those stupid members of the old Town Board. Pray let w have gentlemen with sense, gallantry^ aad feeling enough to make us good streets i a.ud roads, so that we may be able to waik out and enjoy the glorious scenery of tliis lovely place and also avail ourselves of what your good sense has advocated for us in the sha.jv> of public amusements. In the winter that \viU be impossible, unless new idea* and fre^h hload are introduced into the Town Board. The $Uawer baths old ocean provides for us are. sufficiently disagreeable without the addition of the mud footpaths which are so liberally be&twedj upon us by those ancients in office, who, \ W, will be quietly laid on the shelf, ticketed* '< dangerous to the health and averse to the \nAP¥ov.€i»ej\t of the place " Do dear Mr Ed\&y, e,\ert your great power in our favor' and re^' «pxm. the gratitude of Dunedin, November 29,1862.
