The wool sale held to-day at Messrs R. Goldsbrough and Co.'s stores was very fully attended, and competition was brisk. (Jf 3,4C0 baies catalogued, 1,827 were disposed of at prices fully supporting last week's rates, the residue being withdrawn for further orders, or bought in on growers' account. Wool.—Messrs It. Goldsbrough and Co. supply the annexed report:—" At our ?ale held this day, 3,4(51 bales were catalogued, of which a larger proportion were either withdrawn, for further instructions or bought in on owners' account. We have placed at auction and by private contract 1,827 bales - greasy, at frcin B;}d to Is 2d^d ; and fleece at from Is 4d to 2s 2d per lb—the latter price, the highest of the season, having been obtained for a clip of 289 hales from the station of Mr Kobert Simson. We have aiso sold another clip of 400 bales from the station of Messrs C and »S. Officer, at 2s per lb. For all the lots disposed of fully last week's prices have been realize').
