The Louisa, from Adelaide, was towed up this afternoon, by the Samson. She brings a general cargo, principally wheat, flour, and sugar, along with 2> passengers. For several days experienced heavy gales from the S.W. In 41° s'south, and 141 ° 22' R. spoke the ship Jessie Brown, bound for Melbourne.

The ship, Southern Cross, with passengers from Melbourne, has brought up at the Heads. She is commanded on this occasion by Captain Dow, who was lately in the Vortigern. Will probably tow up next tide.

Another vessel at the Heads, is the Australasian Packet, which has put batik in consequence of the prevailing heavy weather from the S.W. The Notos is also at anchor outside, and the Greyhound and Alice Thornrtyke inside, the one outward bound, the other inward. As the Samson was leaving the Heads, another ship came to anchor. She has white painted spars, and is supposed to be the Samuel Appleton, Bruce, or Blanche Moore. The Greyhound has upwards of 250 passengers on board, for Melbourne, the Samson, and Pride "of the Yarra, having yesterday and to-day, conveyed them to the Heads.

It appears, from the Melbourne shipping intelligence, that the steamer Citizen, well known in HobHon's Bay, is now on her w.iy to Otago, wh'-jre it is expected she will b« employed in the harbour and coasting trade.
