NAVAL DEBERTIOH. \ 10 and 11 Viet., chap. 62, sec 11. rj And l*e it enacted, That every jerson who, by n worda or any other means whatsoever, shall jxsrsuatle c any person in Her Majesty's Navy to desert, or improperly absent himself from his duty, shall forfeit c and pay the sum of twenty pounds for every such d act; and every person who shall assist or procure any I- perKm in Her Majesty's Nary to desert, or iniproie perly absent hiroself from his duty; or shall conceal employ, or continue to employ any person belonging j, o tier Majesty's Navy, who shall be a deserter, or mproperly absent from his duty, knowing him to be — uch a desertor r or bo improperly absent, shall forfeit and pay the mm of thirty pounds for every such asn Bistance, procurement, concealment, employment, or ; continuing of employment, as aforesaid."
