As mentioned, tht,> passengers number 1-15, 118 being in the intermediate and steerage, and only six of the number assisted emigrants. Throughout the passage the health of all on board was excellent, and there were no casualties. The surgeon, I Jr. Richardson, had made previous visits'to New-Zealand in passenger vessels, and to his experience and attention much of the comfort of the passage was due, while the vessel had an able commauder in Capt. Sellars. Her passengers proceeded to to-day by the Samson.
The schooner Pilot, from Stewart's Island, left Paterson's Inlet on Saturday night. A schooner, understood to be the Lloyd's Herald, arrived there on the same evening. The Pilot discharges her cargo in town, and took, advantage ol the favorable tide and wind to proceed up.
The Albatross having discharged her passengers from Auckland here, has dropped down to the heads, intending to proceed elsewhere with her cargo of timber.
The barque Geelong and brig Ellen were towed down by the Samson in the morning. The Union sailed from the licafds on the previous afternoon, the Picard remaining to receive repairs of the damage done by their collision.
There are now fewer returning from Waikouaiti, and about an equal number continue to leave daily with the intention of of still visiting the diggings, and satisfying themselves of their value.
