TIME TABLE
The ship Flying Mist, Captain Ebenezer H. Linnell which sailed from the Clyde on or about June sth, with some 1,600 improved Leicesters, shipped by Mathew Holmes, Kstj., and with between twenty and thirty pa'sengei-s, besides some genei-al cargo, arrived at the liluft Harbour last Tuesday. Information of her arrival was brought-up by" Mr. Smith to Mr. Hoodie (from Messrs Dalgetyj Rattray, and Co. to whom the sheep were consigned), and early on Wednesday they tv.-o set off for Campbelltown to get the sheep landed—-(700 had died on the passage.) In the afternoon of the same day a mounted messenger brought a hasty note from Mr. J. ff. Hughes to j Messrs. C. N. Campbell and Co., urging that the Aphrasia should bo sent round immediately—as the 1* lying Mist had sunk ! Foul play was at once su*. On boarding her Mr. Parker asked if the anchors wore ready to let go directly he oruvn-d -ho was tyld they were. Off the point, he ordered- them to be let go, when it'was found tluy were not ready.
