The proprietors of the Otago Daily Tim will present to-the writer of the best Pamphlet on the advantages of Separation, a Prize of Fifty Sovereigns or a Silver Cup of the same value, at the option of the winner, and the Separation League will present a purse of Twenty Sovereigns for the second best Pamphlet. The following: will be the conditions :— The decision to rest with a committee appointed by the Separation League, but of which the Editor of the Daily Times is to' be a a member, The Editor of the Daily Tinus to publish, at his option, portions or the whole of any ol the pampblete sent in tor competition in the columns of that uewspnper, but the right to publish in the form of a pamphlet to remain with the authors. The competition to be open to the whole colony, excepting only the Editor and Proprietors of tJie Daily Times. The Pamphlet to be sent iv on or before August , 10th, endowed Prize Pamphlets, and addressed to the Editor of the Daily Time*, care of Secretary of the Separation League. Each pamphlet to be signed by a motto, Bud in a sealnd envelope, accompanying ft the Diune of the author to be stated. The sealed envelope to be addressed to the Secretary of the Separation league.
