As conjectured, the Geelong is the barque which was seen off the coast since Thursday last, the wind from that time having been unfavorable to her reaching the Heads. Previous to that time also, and through the greater past of the passage, the Geeloag experienced heavy and baffling weal her, to winch her rather protracted passage is greatly due. She kit England on the 21st of March, had heavy weather fall well down upon the Line, and after passing the Cape, encountered some severe gale* during one of which, she shipped one or two heavy seas and earned away about twenty feet of her starboard -bulwarks, her quarter boarding, and a quarter boat. When in the latitude of the Croats, some wreck was seen, consisting of spars and rigging, along with a slip's boat. The wreck appeared to belong to a vessel of about a thousand tons. The health of the p:\93engers on board the Geelong was good throughout the passage, and they arrived all well ,* the majority of the number are from Scotland, and there are only a few female passengers. Dean was employed to attempt her removal, and at the last high tide, she was witliin a foot of floating. It w understood that she is not very seriously damaged. The Tasmanian Maid, which gob ashore lately at Oamai'ii, was driven far up on the beach, and is* not supposed'to be much damaged. From her situation, also, it in expected that she will bo easily launched. The barque Mandarin reached the Port in the afternoon. She is from Melbourne, with jiart of her original cargo from Adelaide, consisting of flour and wheat. Drought no passengers.
