The following will Le the conditions :— The decision to rest with a committee appointed by the Separation League, but of wliich tlie Editor oi the Daily Times is to be a a member. The Editor of the Daily Times to publish, ut his option, portions or the whole of any ofthe pamphlets sent in for competition in the columns of tliut newspaper, but the right to publish in the form of a pamphlet to remain with the authors. The competition to lie open to the whole colony, excepting only the Editor and Proprietors of the Daily Times. The Pamphlet to he sent in on or before August lOtii, endowed Prize Pamphlet-:, and addressed tothe Editor of tne Daily Times, care of Secretary of the Separation League. Each pamphlet to bf; signed by a motto, mid iv a scaled envelope, accompanying ft the name ofthe author to be stated. The "sealed envelope to be addres-ed to the Secretary of the Separation League. This stipulation must be imperatively oliserved, ;w pamphk-u with the author's name attached will be disqualified. The pamphlets are to be written in a legible hand, on one side of the paper ouly.
