And upwards. This well known Bush contains White, Red, and Black Pine, and Totara Trees, 40 feet average length of trunk. The opportunity of obtaining allotments of valuable land so heavily wooded, has never before occurred, and may never occur again. The attention of the surrounding settlers, and of Sawyers and wood merchants especially, is particularly directed to it; an important consideration in addition to the superiority of the timber itself, being the level nature of the land, and the splendid stream which runs through it, and which is capable of driving a saw mill.
