The Colonist was built in the Clyde, and launched on the 18th December last. She has made one of the FASTEST VOYAGES ON RECORD For a vessel of her Tonnage, having completed her First Trip to OTAGO in 118 Days from GLASGOW, and .delivered f a large and valuable cargo without a stain. •The Colonist will be sold with all her spars, mast, standing and running rigging, and all her appurtenances complete, as she now lies alongside the Wharf.
