ANOTHER HORRIBLE OUTRAGE AND MURDER.
(From the Hofiart Town Mercury, April 29.) We regret to havo to announce that intelligence was brought to -town by Page's coach - last night, of another of those terrible crimes which are tha foul blots upon our colony. It seems that a'little. gir] of about seven years of age, res-iding with her parents in the neighborhood of Mr. New's house at Bagdad, had been missing from her home since Friday hist, and nntil yesterday every effort to trace her was Tain. Yesterday, however, the search unhappily ended in the discovery of tho mangled body of the poor child, who had been murdered after the most brutal ill-usage. Wo are not at present in possession of further particulars. Our informant states that tho utmost excitement prevailed in the district, and that the most determined measures were being taken to pursue and capture tho fiendish miscreant who has added one more to the fearful catalogue of crimes that cry aloud for vengeance. In all probability, further and more detailed intelligence will arrive in town this morning.
