Objects:— TO relieve the aged, infirm, disabled, or destitute of all creeds and nations, by receiving and maintaining, in a suitable building, such as may be most benefited by being inmates of the Asylum. The Government having intimated their willingness to grant a site for the purpose, it is hoped that a sufficient sum will be collected to allow of a portion of the Asylum being erected, and ready for the reception oi inmates before the winter sets in.
