TMTEETING OF THE PROVINCIAL COUNCIL. _yX Proclamation, by John Larkins Cheese Richardson, P'squire, Superintendent of the Province ot Otajco, New Zealand.—ln pursuance of the power and authority vested in me in that behalf, I do hereby fix and proclaim that the Fifteenth Session of the Provincial Council ot the Province of Otago aforesaid, shall be holden within the Provincial Council Hall, Dunedin, in the said Province, and shall commence upon WEDNESDAY, the Sixteenth day of April, 1562, at twelve o'clock noon ; and the members of the said Council are hereby warned to give their attendance at the said time and place accordingly. I EDWARD CROKER, duly appointed Returning , Officer of the above Mining District, under a Proclamation by his Honor the Superintendent of Otago, dated the sth day of March, 1862, do hereby give notice that the election of seven persons to serve on the Gabriel's District Mining Board, will take place at Holmes' and Wetherloy's Hotel, junction Gabriel's Gully, on THURSDAY, tho 24th day of April, 1862. at two o'clock in the afternoon. Ido hereby require that any person desirous of nominating a Candidate to serve on the Mining Board of the District aforesaid, shall, on or before the 6th day of April next, forward to me in writing the Christian and Surname of such Candidate, such nomination to be signed by not less than five persons qualified to vote at the Election of Members for said Mining Board. The Senior Commissariat Officer or Officer deputed by him to have the power ot inspecting the live Cattle and Sheep intended for slaughter, and of rejecting any animal considered unfit for the use of'the Troops.
