All payments to be made in respect of land slur be made to the Treasurer of the Board during t!h sitting thereof, and the Treasurer shall thereupo, give receipt.-, for the same. 18.—By the G2ud clause of the Constitution Attire Governor is authorised and required to pay out i; • the revenue ari.-sing from the uispoaal of the Was.* Lands of the Crown ;ili the costs, charees, and i.-j:-pensos incident to the collection, management, aii receipt thereof; and aiso to pay out of the said revenu>such sums as shall become payable under certa' other provisions therein contained. ReseiTes for the uses of the Provincial Govcriment and for other public purposes may, upon tl: recommendation of the Provincial Council, bu mat1 by the Superintendent; and shall not be alienate. from the specific purposes to which they sliall hav been severally dedicated, except under the provision of an Act of the Gciieiiil Assembly, entituled th " Public Hescrves Act, 1854;" and a full and complete description of every such reserve and of th purposes to which it shall have been dedicated shall as soon as possible after it-shall have been made, bpublished in tho Government Gazette of tlie Province, and set forth on the authenticated maps in the Lam Office.
