IN PURSUANCE of the Dnnedin Town Board Ordinance, Session 11., No. 23 a, I, the Superintendent of the Province of Otaso, do hereby appoint the Electors entitled to vote "for Members for the Town of Dunedin. in the Provincial Council of Otago, to assemble upon MONDAY, the Thirtieth Day of December, 1861, at Twelve o'clock noon, at the Provincial Council Hall, Dunedin, for the purpose of Electing Five Persons to be Members of the said Town Board, in room of Messrs. James Kilgour John Switzer Arthur Beverly John Duncan . Thomas Redmayne, who go out of office on the first WEDNESDAY of December, 1861. And further, in pursuance of the said Ordinance, I hereby appoint John Gillies, Esquire, of Dunedin, Returning Officer, to preside at said Meeting, and in the event of a Poll being- demanded, I hereby appoint the Polling to take place in the office of the Returning Officer, Dunedin, on TUESDAY, the Thirty-first Day of December, 1861.
