IMPORTANT NOTICE ! j ffPHE alterations in the machinery of the JL Screw-steamer "PHCENIX" being nearly completed, the public of DUNEDIN and PORT CHALMERS are informed that this fine new steamer will COMMENCE RUNNING between \ Dunedin and the Port on Tuesday next, carrying passengers and lug-gage. She is intended to run TWO TRIPS DAILY (Sundays excepted). Hours of Departure:— From Dunedin Jetty—lo and 2, punctually ; From Port Chalmers—ll.3o and 3.30 ditto. Fares : —2s. fore part; 3s. aft, including' use of her very superior and commodious cabinBoats will be provided to and from the Jetty at low tides. N.B.—On MONDAY, 23rd inst, the PHCENIX will leave the Jetty at 10 o'clock, on a Trial Trip.
